Employees of IDGC of Centre - Orelenergo division in the summer continue to work systematically to prevent children's electric injuries. Since the beginning of June, the power engineers have already conducted 17 classes in a number of school camps in the region, as well as in health camps 'Sosnovy Bor' and 'Solnechny'. In total, more than five hundred children took part in them.

The power engineers told the children about the basic rules of electrical safety and the importance of warning signs that are installed on power facilities, and also explained why games and selfies near electrical installations are dangerous for life and health. The participants of the lessons were given the opportunity to try on the equipment of electricians (protective hard tops, thermal suits, dielectric gloves and boots), watched cartoons on electrical safety and received memos with tips on how to handle electricity properly.

Until the end of the summer, Orelenergo's specialists will conduct similar classes in all school camps in the Orel region and children's health camps 'Mechta', 'Orlovchanka' and 'Veterok'. In total, it is planned to organize about sixty lessons.
