Employees of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division and their family members visited St. Petersburg this past weekend. The trip was organized by the management and the trade union committee of the branch.

The power engineers made a sightseeing tour of the city, during which they saw the most famous architectural ensembles of the Northern Capital - the Spit of Vasilyevsky Island, St. Isaac's and Palace Square, admired the monument to Peter the Great 'The Bronze Horseman', got acquainted with the exposition of the museums 'Saviour on Blood' and the Field of Mars. They could also see the famous palaces of St. Petersburg - the Nikolaevsky Palace (the Palace of Labour), the Menshikov Palace and the Beloselsky-Belozersky Palace.

The program of the trip included visiting the Zoological Museum of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Its collection has about 30 thousand exhibits of rare birds and animals and is one of the largest in the world. And also - a monument of world architecture and palace and park art of the XVIII-XIX centuries of the museum-reserve 'Peterhof'. According to the power engineers, the visit to the Northern Capital left an unforgettable impression on them.
