MRSK Tsentra : IDGC of Centre at the Forum of the Central Federal District on Public-Private Partnerships presented the first PPP project in the national grid complex

On 24 August, the Central Federal District Forum on Public-Private Partnership opened in Tula. The Forum was organized by the Government of the Tula region, together with the Centre for the development of public-private partnership (PPP) with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives to demonstrate and replicate the best practices of implementation of PPP projects in the Central Federal District and the exchange of best practices. The event was attended by representatives of the subjects of the Central Federal District, federal agencies, investors and private partners. IDGC of Centre at the forum is represented by Head of the Property Management Department Dmitry Meneylyuk.

The Forum program is scheduled for two days. Within the business program of August 24 there is a series of discussion sites with participation of experts organized, as well as a presentation of the best practices of the implementation of public-private partnership projects in the Central Federal District. Dmitry Meneylyuk said in his speech about the first PPP project in the national grid complex, which since 2015 IDGC of Centre has been implementing in the Tambov region. In the framework of the signed a year ago with the regional government concession agreement, the company is working there to provide electric grid infrastructure for the largest in the Central Federal District new businesses in growing and processing of poultry meat produced on the site of 'Tambov Turkey' LLC and OJSC 'Tokarevskaya Poultry Plant'. Construction of facilities for electricity supply of a vertically integrated complex for growing and processing turkey of 'Tambov Turkey' LLC, implemented by the largest agro-industrial company in Russia PJSC 'Cherkizovo Group' and one of the leading manufacturers of Turkey in Europe, the company Grupo Fuertes (Spain), was completed in December 2015, for OJSC 'Tokarevskaya Poultry Plant' - in March 2016. The project has already been praised by the professional community. IDGC of Centre successfully presented it as part of the National Award 'Rosinfra-2015' - the only Russian award in the field of infrastructure and public-private partnership, having won in the nomination 'The best PPP project in the energy sector'.

Today, on the second day of the Forum, the Institute for PPP Development will hold an educational program that includes an expert session on 'Current status and development of the PPP sphere in the Russian Federation' and a series of specialized workshops.
