MRSK Tsentra : IDGC of Centre’s specialists assist in the restoration of power supply for residents of Tambov, interrupted due to a failure at a substation of "Tambov Utility Networks"

In the Tambov region, a major technological violation occurred at 35/6kV substation No. 1 of the city of Tambov, which is on the balance of 'Tambov Utility Networks', as a result of the substation roof blown off and the damage by its fragments to electrical equipment elements. Tens of thousands of city residents have no light.

The leadership of the regional headquarters for energy security requested IDGC of Centre to provide emergency assistance in accordance with the previously concluded agreement on interaction in emergency situations with the Tambov municipal systems IDGC of Centre, as a company with state participation, which has at its disposal the forces and means sufficient to eliminate technological violations of any complexity, quickly mobilized mobile crews of its Tambov branch. In a few minutes, its representatives arrived at the site of the incident and provided advice to colleagues from Tambov Utility Networks regarding the order of execution of work for the prompt removal of damage. In the nearest time IDGC of Centre's crews will join the implementation of emergency recovery work in agreement with Tambov communal systems.

Such precedents confirm the urgency of the task of consolidation of territorial grid organizations, which is one of the key in the Development Strategy of the Electric Grid Complex of the Russian Federation until 2030. The presence of a single control centre will allow to implement a unified technical policy to ensure the necessary level of reliability and quality of energy supply to consumers, and in particular - to minimize the possibility of emergencies.
