In the Tambov region in the territory of Tokarevsky district the country's largest incubator was opened, built as part of a vertically integrated poultry production unit on the site of OJSC 'Tokarevskaya Poultry Factory' (part of the Group of agricultural enterprises 'Resource'). The ceremony was attended by Head of the Tambov region administration Alexander Nikitin, Head of the Tokarevsky district administration Victor Aydarov, representatives of the largest resource supplying companies in the region. IDGC of Centre was represented by Deputy General Director - Director of the branch 'Tambovenergo' Vladimir Syschikov.

The Group of agricultural enterprises 'Resource' is the leader among Russian exporters of poultry products. The construction of the incubator on the site of the Tokarevsky poultry factory began in 2013. Its production capacity is 105 million eggs per year, while there is the possibility of increasing to 130 million. The incubator was the first among the production facilities, which is open in the framework of the project of creation of the poultry production unit. In addition to the incubator its structure will include a feed mill, two elevators and seven sites for breeding of broilers and a poultry processing plant and warehouses for storage of chilled and frozen products. By the time of its design capacity - and this is supposedly in February 2017, about 2,500 jobs will be created at the poultry production unit.

IDGC of Centre supplies electricity to OJSC 'Tokarevskaya Poultry Factory' with electric grid infrastructure in the framework of the concession agreement signed in June 2015 with the administration of the Tambov region, which was the first project of public-private partnership in the Russian electric grid. Specialists of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division in May 2016 put into operation the 110/10 kV substation (SS) 'Factory', constructed in Tokarevsky district of the Tambov region for electricity supply of the Tokarevskaya Poultry Factory.

The substation 'Factory' is equipped with two power transformers with a total capacity of 32 MVA (2x16MVA). Their power is selected in such a way that the other could take over the entire load at failure of one transformer. The new supply centre is equipped with the most modern electrical equipment, which allows to provide the required reliability of electricity supply to consumers and reduce in the future its repair and maintenance costs. It used new and innovative developments in the field of remote control and IT-technologies. In addition to the substation for power supply of the new unit overhead and cable lines of 10 kV with a total length of about 55 km were constructed.

'Tokarevskaya Poultry Factory' is not the only large and significant project in the agro-industrial sector of the Tambov region, in which IDGC of Centre participates in the framework of the concession agreement. The company already in 2015 also supplied power to a turkey growing and processing unit of LLC 'Tambov Turkey', implemented by the largest Russian agro-industrial company PJSC 'Cherkizovo Group' and one of the leading manufacturers of Turkey in Europe, the company Grupo Fuertes (Spain). The unit includes a hatchery, a feed mill, four nurseries, a slaughter floor, modern warehouses and sanitary checkpoints.

The implementation of both projects mentioned above is carried out with the active participation of IDGC of Centre, is of great importance for the economic development of the Tambov region and contributes significantly to the Food Security Doctrine of the Russian Federation, the state policy of import substitution and the program of the domestic agricultural sector development, ensuring its structural adjustment and transition from inefficient to modern innovative productions.
