MRSK Tsentra : IDGC of Centre took part in a review of forces and means involved in the liquidation of emergencies in the Tambov region

Specialists of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division took part in a review in Tambov of forces and means of the territorial subsystem of the unified state system for the prevention and elimination of emergency situations, involved in the liquidation of emergencies. The review was conducted under the leadership of the acting deputy head of the Central Regional Centre of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia, Colonel Alexey Shaposhnikov and the first deputy head of the administration of the Tambov region Oleg Ivanov.

Power engineers demonstrated modern equipment that allows in a short time to eliminate faults at power grid facilities and restore power supply to consumers: an auto hydraulic aerial based on the KAMAZ car and a specialized workshop installed on the chassis of a high-terrain vehicle. The workshop is equipped with the necessary set of tools and devices for performing first responding and restoration and planning work, which allows to repair a defective unit without moving to the base as soon as possible. In addition, it is equipped with diagnostics and adjustment of 10-35-110 kV switches. All the equipment can be powered from both 0.4 kV AC and an autonomous generator.

The head of General Directorate of EMERCOM of Russia in the Tambov region Colonel Oleg Zatsepin estimated the level of readiness of forces and means of the Tambov branch of IDGC of Centre to organize work in case of emergencies as high.

The forces and resources of Tambovenergo are an important element of the territorial subsystem of the unified state system for the prevention and elimination of emergency situations. In the event of abnormal situations, the company has formed 10 mobile crews totalling 60 people equipped with off-road cars, auto hydraulic aerials and drilling-crane machines. In carrying out first responding and restoration work, the branch's specialists can use 27 standby power sources with a total capacity of 801 kW, which are constant available and can be used in any territory. To ensure prompt cooperation in the liquidation of contingencies, Tambovenergo concluded agreements with territorial bodies of EMERCOM and executive authorities, which is one of the important factors for ensuring the energy security of the region.
