Services of IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division continue to be in demand among consumers of the Smolensk region. For 2016 the branch office received 123,705 applications for provision of core and value-added services, which is 5.4% more than in the previous year.

The most convenient form for 65% of customers was correspondent form of communication with specialists. 35% of customers preferred to address with a personal visit to the Customer Service Centre (CSC) of Smolenskenergo or specialists of customer service offices in Distribution Zones.

Among correspondent channels for requests the most popular in 2016 was the contact centre - 90.65% of off-site requests.

The largest number of personal visits was related, as in previous years, with connection to electric grids of the branch, commercial electricity metering and various value-added services of the branch.

For one and a half years already (since July 2015) Smolenskenergo has had a system of pre-appointment at the reception in the customer service office - to schedule a visit to the service office and avoid queues, customers of Smolenskenergo can do ahead with an electronic queue. One can make an appointment with one of three ways: a personal visit to the Customer Service Centre of the city of Smolensk or to employees of customer service offices in districts of the region; correspondence appointment on the website at http://www.mrsk-1.ru/customers/customer-service/feedback/ or via the Contact centre's operator at 13-50. In 2016 the pre-appointment service was used by 7,770 people.

The Smolensk branch of IDGC of Centre constantly improves the system of quality of services provided, using modern technology and communication channels, carries out activities aimed at improving the quality of customer service. For convenience and timely provision of information to its customers Smolenskenergo's experts weekly posts updated schedules of planned outages on the corporate website at (https://www.mrsk-1.ru/customers/services/transmission/disconnection/286/), they monthly publish information in the local media ('Main theme', 'Smolcity'), send out letters with schedules to municipal administrations. The energy company also sends out mails in advance - notices to persons who require replacement of a metering device.
