MRSK Tsentra : In May 3 thousand pupils were participants in electrical safety classes in Kostromaenergo

Specialists of IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division continue systematic work on prevention of children's electric injuries. On the eve of the summer holidays, the power engineers held over 200 classes in electrical safety in the Kostroma region. More than 2,500 thousand schoolchildren from 118 educational institutions of the region took part in them.

The power engineers introduced the children to the rules of safe behaviour near power facilities and the rules for use of electrical appliances, taught the correct movement in the zone of action of ground fault currents and the skills of first aid to the victim.

The experts of Kostromaenergo will continue preventive work with children and adolescents even during the summer holidays. For June, the power engineers planned to conduct classes in camps of the Kostroma region, and for July-August - safety activities in country camps for children's recreation. In addition, during the summer, together with employees of the regional offices of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the Internal Affairs Directorate of Russia, the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of Russia and the All-Russian Voluntary Fire Society, the State Inspectorate for Small Boats will hold more than 10 themed route games in school and out-of-town camps.
