MRSK Tsentra PAO : Kostromaenergo’s repair program is running according to the schedule

IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division summed up the implementation of the repair program for 5 months of 2016. The set of activities on preparation of electric grid facilities of the enterprise for the upcoming autumn-winter operation period is being carried out in strict accordance with the schedule.

Kostromaenergo's specialists repaired 173 transformer substations of 6-10 kV and 22.6 km of overhead power lines (Conductors) of 0.4-110 kV. 755 hectares of ROWs along overhead lines were cleared from trees and shrubs. In 2016 the power company will repair in total more than 113.8 kilometres of overhead lines of 0.4-110 kV and 603 transformer substations of 6-10 kV. Comprehensive repair will be carried out at 22 substations of 35-110 kV. Work will also be performed at power facilities, which feed the social infrastructure of the region.

'Timely and full implementation of the activities of the repair program allows to eliminate defects and improve performance of electrical equipment, reduce grid losses, and as a result - to ensure uninterrupted power supply to consumers during peak load periods,' stressed First Deputy Director - Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division Evgeny Smirnov.
