MRSK Tsentra : Tambovenergo’s employees conducted an energy saving lesson at the Centre of family support and help to children

Specialists of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division held a lesson on energy saving for pupils at the Centre of family support and help to children named after G.V. Chicherina in Inzhavinsky district of the Tambov region. The event was organized within the framework of the regional stage of the All-Russian Festival #VmesteYarche, which is being held in the region during September and October. It was attended by about 30 children from four to eighteen years of age.

The head of the energy saving and energy efficiency office of Tambovenergo Sergey Pervushin introduced the pupils of the Centre to simple rules that allow the rational use of energy resources and protection of the environment. From the presentation on energy saving, written in poetic form, the children found out that the use of energy-saving lamps instead of incandescent bulbs, sealing windows and descaling the kettle help significantly save electricity and heat. They can apply this information in practice using the published with the support of IDGC of Centre book-brochure 'Energy Advocates', which each participant received at the end of the lesson.

They should to a greater extent be prepared for independent living than their peers, who live in ordinary families, so their social skills training is important to reinforce with practical exercises - and to do it together.
