MRSK Tsentra : Tverenergo’s employees choose an energy-saving lifestyle

More than 150 employees of IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division supported the Petition in support of the accelerated transition to energy efficient lighting in Russia. The collection of signatures was organized as part of the Second All-Russian Energy Saving Festival #VmesteYarche.

According to the official website of the festival, in 2016 this petition was supported by more than 45 thousand inhabitants of Russia, thanks to this civil support and at the initiative of the Ministry of Energy of Russia, the Government of the Russian Federation made decisions on mandatory use of only energy efficient and environmentally friendly light sources in the entrances of apartment buildings at their construction and major repairs, in the reception rooms of hospitals and other premises of public buildings with continuous lighting work (Resolution № 275 of 7 March 2017).

2017 in Russia is declared the Year of Ecology - this is an additional opportunity to draw the attention of the authorities to the issues of energy saving, environmental protection and within the next 5 years to make a radical transition to energy-efficient light sources. Projects should receive not only support, but also funding.

The petition can be signed on the Internet at https://вместеярче.рф, and also on 9 September in the City Garden of Tver, where a big family holiday #VmesteYarche will take place.

IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division contributed to the organization of the significant event. For more than a month Tverenergo's employees have been preparing for the festival. Together with the Government of the Tver region, general issues are being resolved, and a program for participating in the event is being drawn up.

'IDGC of Centre and the branch of the company in the Tver region - Tverenergo - actively supports the popularization and implementation of energy-saving technologies. It produces a large volume of printing products aimed at promoting the energy saving lifestyle and distributes it among schoolchildren and preschoolers. On a permanent basis, the branch's specialists conduct energy saving lessons, trying to explain to children and adults that effective use of energy resources not only contributes to significant savings in money, but also helps extend the life of household appliances,' stressed Alexey Smorodin, the head of the energy saving and energy efficiency office.
