PITTSBURGH, May 17, 2017 - Stephanie Sciullo, Deputy General Counsel and Director of Litigation for global safety equipment manufacturer MSA Safety (NYSE: MSA), has been recognized by the Pittsburgh Business Times as one of the 10 most accomplished in-house attorneys in the Western Pennsylvania region. Ms. Sciullo will accept her In-House Counsel General Excellence award at a formal reception at the Westin Convention Center Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh on May 17.

Ms. Sciullo, who works at MSA's headquarters in Cranberry Township, Pa., joined the company in 2010 after working for global law firm Reed Smith, LLC as an associate attorney specializing in litigation.

In addition to her MSA responsibilities, Stephanie has worked to better the Pittsburgh in-house legal community as a leader in the industry and as an advocate for gender equity. As an adjunct professor of law at the University of Pittsburgh and Duquesne University, Stephanie designed a course offered at both schools - called In-House Counsel in Modern Corporations - to encourage business-minded action in the legal community.

Just last year, Stephanie launched a Women's Negotiations Workshop where women law students learned to negotiate compensation, promotion, case responsibility, and client exposure opportunities to help develop empowered women lawyers in our Pittsburgh legal community. She is a graduate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in politics and philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh.
