MSB Financial Corp. is a bank holding company. The Company's holding subsidiary is Millington Bank (the Bank), a chartered stock savings bank. Its principal business is the ownership and operation of the Bank. The business of the Bank is attracting retail deposits from the general public and using those deposits together with funds generated from operations, principal repayments on securities, and loans and borrowed funds, for its lending and investing activities. The Bank's loan portfolio primarily consists of one- to four-family and home equity residential loans, commercial loans and construction loans. The Bank is regulated by the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. The Bank also provides financing for commercial real estate, including multi-family dwellings/apartment buildings, service/retail and mixed-use properties, churches and non-profit properties, medical and dental facilities, and other commercial real estate.
