Muehlhan Group strengthens scaffolding business in Denmark Hamburg, January 9, 2018 - Muehlhan AG (Open Market; ISIN DE000A0KD0F7) has acquired Stjerne Stilladser A/S, Odense, Denmark, one of the largest scaffolding companies in Denmark. The acquisition was part of an asset deal and will stabilize the market position of the group's Danish company Muehlhan Denmark A/S (MDK), Middelfart, against cyclicity. By providing scaffolding, primarily for infrastructure projects, Stjerne Stilladser generates annual sales revenues of around EUR 7.5 million. The company's business will be integrated into MDK, in line with Muehlhan's strategy of strengthening the Oil & Gas, Renewables, and Industry/Infrastructure business, broadening its service portfolio for the benefit of both customers and partners. Stjerne Stilladser will continue to operate under its current, reputable name, with the same experienced management and skilled workforce at four locations in Denmark. The Group's financial strength and utilization of synergy effects from the integration will help Muehlhan to profitably expand its share of the scaffolding market in Denmark.
