Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Mwana Africa PLC today announces that Mr. Hu Yuan Ching
will be joining the Board as a non-executive director of
the Company with effect from 4 July 2012.
Oliver Baring, Non-Executive Chairman of Mwana, commented
today:
"I am delighted that Mr. Hu is now able to join his
colleague Mr. Ning on the Board of Mwana."
