On June 22, Protergia Athens Street Pole Vault will be held in Syntagma Square with the participation of Olympic champion Katerina Stefanidi

Athens, Greece - May 31, 2018 - Protergia, the Power and Natural Gas Sector of MYTILINEOS, becomes the New Official Sponsor of SEGAS, the National Track-and-Field teams and SEGAS sport organization, including the Panhellenic Championships of Track and Field Athletics, the RUN GREECE competition series, the Athens Half Marathon and the Athens Classic Marathon.

In this context, Protergia will also be the Nominal Sponsor of the Athens Street Pole Vault event and will 'give its energy' to the international Women Pole Vaulting Competition. The event, part of the European Athletics Federation program, will take place on Friday June 22, at Syntagma Square, with the participation of top athletes such as the Greek Olympic Champion, Katerina Stefanidi, the World Champion Nikol Kyriakopoulou and other important athletes of the global athletics stage.

''PROTERGIA ATHENS STREET POLE VAULT'' is organized for the 6th consecutive year and will be held in the heart of Athens, at Syntagma Square. The competition has hosted the world's elite of pole vaulters, showcasing talents such as Emmanouel Karalis and offering a spectacle of international caliber in the heart of Athens.
