o National Fuel Announces Decrease to Gas Supply Charges (Jan. 30, 2015) Erie, Pa. - National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation ("National Fuel" or "the Utility") has submitted to the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission ("PUC") a quarterly adjustment to gas supply charges, which will become effective Feb. 1, 2015, for

its Pennsylvania customers. This 12.23 percent decrease will lower the monthly bill of a typical residential customer using 90,000 cubic feet of gas annually by $8.56, from $69.98
to $61.42.
National Fuel's price-to-compare gas commodity charge also will decrease to $.36105 ccf. This reference point, important for customers who are shopping for an alternate gas supplier, is detailed on the National Fuel bill under Gas Supply Charges.
Continued decreases in the market price of natural gas, due in large part to the increasing availability of Marcellus Shale gas production, make this quarterly adjustment possible. This change reflects the cost of gas that has been, and will be, purchased by the company for its customers. Pennsylvania utility companies are permitted to update gas supply charges on a quarterly basis to reflect changes in the market price of natural gas. The next opportunity to adjust gas supply charges will be May 1, 2015. Gas supply charges are passed along to customers dollar for dollar, with no mark-up or profit to National Fuel. The Utility hasn't sought to increase the delivery service charges paid by National Fuel residential customers
in more than seven years as the Company has implemented aggressive cost-containment and productivity efforts, even while consistent investment in pipeline safety and system modernization has continued.
Customers who are having trouble paying their bills are encouraged to call National Fuel at
1-800-365-3234 to find out about payment programs and available services. Additionally, the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is currently accepting
applications for help with this year's heating bills.
National Fuel serves approximately 209,000 customers in 14 counties in northwestern
Pennsylvania.
