National Fuel Announces Executive Management Changes

(June 27, 2016) WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. - National Fuel Gas Company ("National Fuel" or the "Company") (NYSE: NFG) is pleased to announce the following executive management promotions.

Ronald C. Kraemer has been promoted to Senior Vice President of National Fuel Gas Supply Corporation ("Supply"). Kraemer will continue in his role as President of Empire Pipeline, Inc. ("Empire"), retaining all of his current responsibilities, including overall operating responsibility for Empire, as well as business development and expansion project oversight for Empire and Supply.

Kraemer joined the Company in 1978 as a Management Trainee. Throughout his career, he has held various management positions in engineering,

operations, marketing, business development and international business development. He has been employed by various subsidiaries of National Fuel, including National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation, National Fuel Supply Corporation and Horizon Energy Development, Inc., holding numerous management and executive levels positions. These companies represent a cross section of the energy industry from utility, interstate pipeline and storage, international power and gas project development, to his current position. Prior to this appointment, he was promoted to Vice President of National Fuel Gas Supply Corporation and President of Empire Pipeline in 2008.

Kraemer graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering. He currently resides in Williamsville, N.Y.

Michael D. Colpoys has been promoted to Vice President of National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation ("Distribution" or "Utility") and will become responsible for the Utility's Pennsylvania division. In addition to general oversight of Distribution's Pennsylvania division, he will be responsible for all field operations for the Utility and National Fuel Gas Supply Corporation in the state.

Colpoys started his career at National Fuel in 1987 as a Management Trainee and was promoted to Junior Engineer in 1988. In the following years, he was

promoted several times from Associate Engineer to Senior District Manager with an oversight of day-to-day field operations in Pennsylvania. In 1999, he advanced to the title of Assistant Superintendent, and in 2004, he was named Superintendent. In 2009, he was promoted to Assistant Vice President, responsible for continued oversight of Pennsylvania operations.

Most recently, he served as Vice President of National Fuel Gas Midstream Corporation and oversaw the development, construction and operation of the company's expanding gathering pipelines.

Colpoys received his Bachelor of Science from Clarkson University and Master of Business Administration from Behrend College at Pennsylvania State University. He is a board member of the 100 Club of Buffalo and currently resides in Erie, Pa.

James A. Rizzo has been promoted to Assistant Vice President of National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation. He will continue to be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the tax department.

Rizzo joined the Company in 2012 as General Manager. Prior to that, he had broad work experience spanning multiple companies, including Greatbatch, Inc., PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and Deloitte. He is a board member of the Buffalo-Niagara Chapter of the Tax Executive Institute, Inc.

Rizzo holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University at Buffalo and is a New York Certified Public Accountant. He currently resides in Getzville, N.Y.
