National Fuel Announces Management Changes

(Aug. 16, 2017) WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. - National Fuel Gas Company ("National Fuel" or the "Company") (NYSE: NFG) announced the following executive management changes, effective July 15, 2017: Michael Kasprzak to Vice President of National Fuel Gas Midstream Corporation and Jeffery Kittka to Vice President of National Fuel Gas Supply Corporation.

Michael Kasprzak has been promoted to Vice President of National Fuel Gas Midstream Corporation ("Midstream"). He is responsible for the day-to-day management of Midstream as well as the Company's timber business.

Kasprzak started his career at National Fuel Gas Supply Corporation ("Supply") in 1981 as a Management Trainee in the Compression Operations and Engineering Department in Oil City, Pa. In 1989, he was a promoted to Superintendent, overseeing the company's Compression Services, and later to Superintendent of Supply Engineering in 1999 at which point he was transferred to Erie, Pa. In 2009, he was promoted to Assistant Vice President with continued oversight of compression services and electrical engineering as

well as expansion projects for Supply, Midstream and Empire Pipeline, Inc.

Kasprzak received his Bachelor of Science in agricultural engineering from Michigan State University. He resides in Erie, Pa., with his wife and is an active member of Evans Scholar Foundation and the Therapeutic Riding Equestrian Center.

Jeffery Kittka has been promoted to Vice President of National Fuel Gas Supply Corporation. In addition to Project and Environmental Engineering services, he is now responsible for the Compression and Electrical Engineering groups.

Kittka joined the Company in 1984 as a Management Trainee in Oil City, Pa., in the Pennsylvania Operations Department of Supply Corporation. He spent the first 12 years of his career at various Supply field locations and transferred into Supply's Engineering Department in 1997 where he became General Manager in 2007. After Supply's and the Utility's engineering departments merged into one Engineering Services department, Kittka

became responsible for the pipeline projects of Supply and Empire Pipeline, Inc., Midstream's gathering system projects, environmental engineering, clean air compliance, and the transmission integrity management program. In 2009, he was named Assistant Vice President.

Kittka earned a Bachelor of Science in mining engineering from Pennsylvania State University. A resident of Meadville, Pa., Kittka is married with five children. On a national level, Kittka is an active member in the American Society of Materials, American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and the Interstate National Gas Association's Pipeline Safety Committee and Construction Task Force. Locally, Kittka spends volunteer time on behalf of St. Brigid's Parish and the Meadville Wolves Club.
