NI (Nasdaq: NATI), the provider of platform-based systems that enable engineers and scientists to solve the world’s greatest engineering challenges, will host its annual investor conference today in Austin, Texas, in conjunction with NIWeek, the company’s annual user conference. NIWeek welcomes engineers, scientists and academic leaders in a variety of industries and application areas. The conference offers a wealth of information including thought-provoking keynote presentations, training and certification opportunities, hands-on technical sessions and an expansive exhibition floor. The great learning environment at NIWeek gives customers the tools and knowledge they need to increase proficiency and develop applications faster, smarter and more cost efficiently.

The conference begins with a keynote address titled, “Testing and Deploying the Next Generation of Technology.” As the world becomes more connected, new technologies continue to converge on smart devices. Attendees can learn how leading semiconductor and wireless companies use the latest additions to the NI platform to accelerate innovation and ensure high reliability and product quality. Following the keynote, the NI leadership team will focus on growth opportunities in the areas of 5G, semiconductor test, connected vehicles and the Industrial Internet of Things. In addition, leadership will showcase the benefits of NI’s R&D investment through the output of new product releases to continue strengthening its software-centric platform. New NI CFO, Karen Rapp, will discuss updates to the NI leverage model.

Today, the company also announces LabVIEW NXG 1.0, the first release of the next generation of LabVIEW engineering system design software. LabVIEW NXG bridges the gap between configuration-based software and custom programming languages with an innovative new approach to measurement automation that empowers domain experts to focus on what matters most – the problem, not the tool.

“At NIWeek, I am excited to celebrate the impact our customers are having on the world and to see our teams unveil the latest products to further differentiate our platform and expand the number of users we can serve. With the release of LabVIEW NXG, we expand the power of our software-centric platform and enable engineers to increase their productivity,” said Alex Davern, president and CEO of NI. “We remain disciplined in our focus and execution to achieve our growth and profitability goals. At our investor conference, we will discuss our plans to accelerate our operating leverage in 2017 and 2018.”

The investor conference webcast will start today at 9:30 a.m. CT and conclude at approximately 2:30 p.m. CT. The link to the presentation materials and webcast will be available on the “Investors” section of the company’s website, www.ni.com/nati, under the subheading “Events & Presentations.”
