Navitas : Curtin University contracts extended

Global education services provider Navitas Limited (ASX: NVT) today announced that it has extended contracts with Curtin University for Curtin College and Curtin Singapore for one year each.

This extension will provide both parties time to negotiate long term agreements that incorporate existing services while also exploring other wider potential strategic initiatives.

The agreement for Curtin College, based on Curtin University's main campus in Perth, has been extended to December 2017 under the same terms and conditions.

The agreement for Curtin Singapore, a campus managed by Navitas for Curtin University in Singapore, has been extended to March 2018 under the same terms and conditions.

"This extension will allow Navitas and Curtin University sufficient time to discuss the longer term objectives of both colleges and to draft a long term renewal agreement," said Group Chief Executive Officer, Rod Jones.
