NCC Group is pleased to announce that it is now an approved CBEST Threat Intelligence supplier.

The CBEST scheme, run by the Bank of England through CREST (a not-for-profit organisation that represents the technical information security industry), delivers intelligence-led penetration tests against the critical systems of financial institutions.

The assessments replicate the tactics, techniques and procedures of known threat actors that are perceived as posing a significant and specific threat to financial institutions and mimic those that are being conducted by cyber criminals in real-world scenarios.

Ollie Whitehouse, director at NCC Group, said: 'I'm delighted that NCC Group is now a CBEST Threat Intelligence supplier and is one of only a handful of firms able to provide CBEST Threat Intelligence services to organisations in the financial services sector.

'The fact the Group is now an approved supplier is recognition of NCC Group's comprehensive Threat Intelligence capability and builds on the Group's acquisition of Fox-IT last year, along with NCC Group's global capability around intelligence collection and analysis'.
