The Tete Solar Project is a large scale 300 megawatts (MW) solar photovoltaics plus battery energy system (BESS) development project located in the Tete Province in northern Mozambique. The Benguerra Island Project is a 400 kilowatt 'peak (kWp), fully off-grid solar PV and BESS system installed on the remote island of Bengurra off the coast of mainland Mozambique.
