Tokyo, March 22, 2017 - NEC Corporation (TSE: NEC 6701) announced today that Vodafone Netherlands is driving the mobile Unified Communication (UC) market forward by leveraging NEC's Small Cells combined with Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) applications to deliver guaranteed indoor coverage and highly secure enterprise connected communication.
SignaalPlus Enterprise Connect allows mobile devices to seamlessly attach to the enterprise UC on premise as a standard UC endpoint and offer a full range of mobile and UC services. The new solution allows a single mobile device to securely connect with all local enterprise information systems, as well as manufacturing and healthcare equipment, allowing integrated communication, messaging, alarm handling and automation. The high quality unified experience truly leverages the potential of mobile devices for Enterprise and Industrial IoT.
The solution is highly resilient, allowing for internal critical communications and business processes to continue in emergencies, fixed or mobile network outages and natural disasters.
