Nestlé CEO Paul Bulcke will speak at 'Global Compact +15: Business as a Force for Good' in New York on 'Climate Action and the Environment' and call for coordinated action by governments, companies and NGOs to address climate change and safeguard water resources.

Mr Bulcke will speak at a session that starts at 17:30 CET on Thursday June 25 in the UN General Assembly Hall, during a segment on 'Advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through Corporate Sustainability'. You can watch a live webcast of the session.

UN member states are expected to adopt the post-2015 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in September. Mr Bulcke will emphasise the role of business in supporting the SDGs, discuss the impact of climate change and explain how Nestlé has integrated environmental sustainability as one of the foundations of its business.

Global Compact +15 brings together business, government and civil society to mark the 15th anniversary of the UN Global Compact, a voluntary initiative that now has over 8,300 member companies across 170 countries that work to adopt sustainable and socially responsible policies.
