NetSuite's growing presence in retail will be on full display at this year's NetSuite SuiteWorld conference taking place in San Jose from May 16-19, 2016. And with a theme of 'making bold happen,' the event might as well serve as a retail rally cry.

An increasingly competitive and complex marketplace has combined with fast changing consumer expectations to force retailers to push the limits of what they once thought was possible. Just being another store or ecommerce site isn't enough; they have to stand out, and it takes bold thinking and decision-making to make that happen.

Along those lines, there will be numerous opportunities for companies attending SuiteWorld to not only hear from companies making bold moves with NetSuite's retail business software, but also to get practical, hands-on advice from NetSuite executives on how to be bold on the platform. Attendees will learn how to make omnichannel commerce real, deliver truly amazing customer experiences and accelerate time to value.

For instance, on the first full day of SuiteWorld, Paul Dell, president of SportShop.com, will share how implementing SuiteCommerce Advanced has helped his company achieve a 40 percent increase in site conversion and a 20 percent increase in order value. He'll also offer best practices, as well as pitfalls to avoid. Later that day, attendees can learn why a measured, step-by-step approach to rolling out NetSuite has worked so well for Lindemann Chimney.

This year's SuiteWorld will also feature our first-ever industry keynotes, with NetSuite GM of Global Retail, Branden Jenkins and Andy Lloyd, NetSuite's GM of Commerce Products, discussing the burning issues in retail. Lloyd will return later to talk about building great customer experiences, and a panel of retail experts from NetSuite will describe how to better understand the customer journey and how your business can take better advantage of it.

There will also be abundant opportunity to hear from cutting-edge customers who will talk about how they tapped NetSuite to establish a microsite strategy that's allowing them to deliver custom B2B experiences for each customer types. Jeff Bipes, IT director of paint manufacturer Valspar, will describe how the company transformed its inventory management approach from a point-to-point supply chain to a just-in-time mobile B2B retail operation with NetSuite, moving from 32 physical stores to more than 50 mobile locations with a hub-and-spoke inventory model.

A panel of retail industry experts will then put all of this into perspective, sharing their thoughts on what technologies and trends will shape the future of commerce, before Matthew Rhodus, NetSuite's director of retail apparel and industry principal, wraps up the show with a talk about how NetSuite is 'making bold happen' by helping retailers revitalize their brick-and-mortar stores.

Don't miss out on your opportunity to make your own bold happen. Join us at SuiteWorld 2016 in San Jose, May 16-19, 2016.
