Martha Soehren, Comcast, serving in final year as Chair; Marva Johnson, Charter Communications, elected Vice-Chair

New Directors-at-Large include Karen Buchholz, Comcast; Lisa Hook, Neustar; Mary McLaughlin, Comcast; Judith Mills, Mediacom; Michele Parks, Cox Communications; Lisa Schwartz, Sundance Selects & IFC Films; and Alaka Williams, Scripps Networks Interactive. Special Designee Directors-At-Large are Marcy DeAngelis, Comcast; and Denise Gough, Scripps Networks Interactive.

Washington, DC - Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) today announced the members of its 2017 Board of Directors.

Martha Soehren, Chief Talent Development Officer & SVP, Comcast University & Comcast Cable, enters her third and final year as Board Chair. Marva Johnson,Regional VP, State Government Affairs (South), Charter Communications, has been elected to the role of Vice-Chair and will become Chair in 2018.

Angela Santone, EVP & Global Chief Human Resources Officer, Turner, rose to the Executive Committee and will serve as Treasurer. New At-Large Members of the Board of Directors are: Karen Buchholz, SVP, Administration, Comcast; Lisa Hook,President & CEO, Neustar; Mary McLaughlin, Regional SVP, Beltway Region, Comcast; Judith Mills, Group VP, Human Resources, Mediacom; Michele Parks, Vice President, Talent Management, Cox Communications; Lisa Schwartz, Co-President, Sundance Selects & IFC Films; and Alaka Williams, SVP, Network Human Resources, Scripps Networks Interactive.
In addition, two individuals will serve one-year terms as Directors-At-Large in special roles. Marcy DeAngelis, Senior Director, Business Process Effectiveness, Comcast Cable, is the Emerging Leader Designee and Denise Gough, VP, Business & Legal Affairs, Scripps Networks Interactive, is the Chapter Leader Designee.

The WICT Board brings together members with dynamic and deep industry experience and distinctive perspectives and backgrounds.
