Vancouver, B.C., January 10, 2017. Black Sea Copper & Gold Corp. (TSX-V: BLS, OTCQB: BLSSF) ('Black Sea' or the 'Company') is pleased to announce the appointments of Rob Duncan as Chief Operating Officer and Rory Kutluoglu as Vice President of Exploration.

Mr. Duncan brings over 26 years of experience in the mineral exploration business to Black Sea. He has worked for both major producers, including Rio Tinto and Inmet Mining Corp., and junior explorers, such as Rimfire Minerals/Kiska Metals Corp. and Evrim Resources Corp., where he held senior management positions and was an integral part of generative exploration, project evaluations and joint venture negotiations.

Mr. Kutluoglu is a Professional Geoscientist with over a decade of exploration experience in a wide variety of commodities across North America. He was Exploration Manager for Kaminak Gold Corp. from 2012 to 2015, where he was instrumental in delivering the maiden resource, positive preliminary economic assessment and positive feasibility study for the Coffee Gold Project, Yukon, subsequently acquired by Goldcorp Inc. in 2016.
