NEW YORK, January 28, 2015 - The New York Times Travel Show announced the winners of its 2015 Exhibitor Awards. The awards recognize excellence and innovation in exhibitor booths, displays and presentations. 

  • Best Small Booth - Makanyi Private Game Lodge
  • The People's Choice - Taiwan Tourism
  • Most Interactive Booth - Quark Expeditions
  • Best Design - Aruba Tourism Authority

Winners were presented with their awards on the floor of The New York Times Travel Show on the final day of the show - Sunday, January 25.  Winning exhibitors were chosen by the staff of The New York Times Travel Show in all categories except for The People's Choice award, which was determined by monitoring booth traffic over the three days of the Travel Show.

The New York Times Travel Show is the largest trade and consumer travel event in North America, featuring nearly 500 exhibitors from more than 150 countries. In addition to discounts and special offers, the show provides educational seminars and live entertainment for families, individuals, couples and seniors.  The 2015 New York Times Travel Show was held January 23-25 at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City.  

Event sponsors included: South Africa Tourism, supporter of the Travel Show since 2008, was a gold sponsor. China National Tourist Office , Etihad Airways, Turkish Tourism, and Visit Florida were silver sponsors. American Express was the trade sponsor.   Expo Milano was a sponsor of the Taste of the World stage.
