October 30-The New York Times announced today that it will host a new, journalist-led conference called ClimateTECH, a groundbreaking summit that brings together influential leaders from key industries to assess bold, cutting-edge technologies that could keep global warming below the two-degree threshold-the widely acknowledged danger zone for the planet. This illustrious gathering will take place November 29-30 at City View at Metreon in downtown San Francisco.

ClimateTECH aims to examine, debate and explore how the power of innovation can address what many call the greatest challenge of this generation the consequences of climate change.
