NEW YORK, June 16, 2016 - The New York Times will bring together the most important influencers in urban leadership at its annualCities for Tomorrow conference, which will take place July 18-19 in New York City at TheTimesCenter.

Hosted by senior editors from The New York Times, Cities for Tomorrow will feature provocative interviews, lively conversations, and an audience of urban decision-makers who will gather to identify and assess the winning formulas that lead to flourishing cities. Topics will range from how we define a city's culture in popular media to challenges facing city infrastructure; from population issues to crisis management; from education, food, and the arts to big ideas that can drive economic vitality.

Interviews and discussions will be moderated by experts from The New York Times including hosts Ginia Bellafante, The Times's Big City Columnist, and Charles Duhigg, senior editor of live journalism, as well as dining reporter Julia Moskin, metro reporter William Rashbaum, columnist Jim Dwyer, and editorial director of SPUR Allison Arieff.

Delegates include policy and government officials, C-suite level executives from diverse industries such as energy, technology, automotive and real estate, and entrepreneurs and cultural leaders.

On Monday, July 18, the conference will open with a special panel featuring 'Broad City' star and creator Abbi Jacobson, co-executive producer Eric Slovin, and 'Odd Mom Out' star and creator Jill Kargman on what it's like to build a hit television show in America's largest city.
