“Jostens is truly honored to partner with the Seattle Sounders to create this historic ring,” said Chris Poitras, Jostens Division Vice President, College & Sports. This iconic piece of jewelry uses intricate craftsmanship to tell the story of the Sounders’ first MLS Cup Championship and honors the team’s connection to its fans and the city of Seattle. “

“Last season’s MLS Cup Championship was an incredible achievement reached through the dedication, vision and hard work of countless people,” said Sounders FC Owner Adrian Hanauer, speaking on behalf of the club’s ownership group. “In creating our championship rings with Jostens, we looked to not only recognize a singular moment of victory, but to commemorate the journey that brought us to that point. As an organization, we are thrilled to be able to provide these one-of-a-kind keepsakes to all of the players and staff who helped our first MLS Cup come home to Seattle.”

The Sounders FC MLS Championship Ring is created in 10-karat white gold.  The ring top features the club’s primary logo set with custom Sounders Blue and Rave Green enamel.  The logo is accented with eight diamonds with an additional 30 diamonds surrounding the crest.  The bezel of the ring reads MLS CUP CHAMPIONS with a yellow gold star accenting the top most bezel representing the franchise’s first championship.

The left side of the ring features a detailed Seattle skyline, with the region’s iconic mountains filling the background.  The skyline and mountains are then surrounded by the recipient’s name with players receiving their number below the skyline.

The right side of the ring features the Seattle Sounders FC wordmark and immediately below the wordmark is a depiction of the famous Philip F. Anschutz Trophy with 2016 in its base to represent the championship year.

The inside of the ring features a custom arbor which has the date of the historic championship ‘12.10.16’,  as well as the logos of both Sounders FC and Toronto FC along with the score of the game and penalty-kick rounds that sealed the victory for Seattle.
