Appointment of Angéline Afanoukoé as Director Representing Employees

Paris La Défense, October 30, 2017 - The France Group Committee (Works Council) appointed Angéline Afanoukoé as Director representing employees on the Nexans Board of Directors. This decision comes following the amendment of the Company's articles of association decided by the General Meeting of Shareholders on May 11, 2017 regarding the representation of employees on the Board of Directors.

Angéline Afanoukoé is External Affairs Senior Manager for Nexans Group since January 2017. She was previously in charge of the Group's media relations activities from 2012 to 2017 and managed communications with Individual and Employees shareholders within Investor relations department from 2002 to 2012. Prior to joining the financial department of the Metallurgy division at Alcatel Cables and Components in 1998, Angéline Afanoukoé held several sales and event management positions within SMEs.

Angéline holds a Masters in International Business (Master 1) of University Paris V René Descartes as well as the European Certificate of Financial Analyst (CEFA) of Société Française des Analystes Financiers (SFAF). She is also certified as Company Director by Sciences-Po and the French Institute of Directors (IFA).
