• With a worldwide pioneer technological offer, NH Collection Eurobuilding is the best example of NH´s commitment to innovation and technology applied to the hospitality industry

NH Hotel Group has won the Best Use of Technology Award in the 2015 European Hospitality Awards. The award was presented last night at a ceremony in London attended by some of the leading figures in the global hospitality industry. Sponsored by Quadriga, the award recognises hotels that have implemented technology to make the hotel more appealing to the guest, elevated the brand or defined the modernisation of the front and back office of the hotel.

The panel of prestigious judges included Ted Teng, President & CEO of The Leading Hotels of the World, Rolf Schmidt, Managing Director of TOPHOTELPROJECTS GmbH and Michael Levie, CEO of CitizenM Hotels.

NH Collection Eurobuilding re-opened in September 2014 transformed into a pioneering hotel in which the use of the state-of-art technology delivers an extraordinary customer experience, for both business and leisure, including High Tech rooms at the hotel that offer guests the chance to try out cutting edge technologies such as video-support service via tablets or wireless charging of mobile devices.

To support the meetings segment the Group has introduced 3D holographic telepresence technology, used for the first time on a permanent basis in a hotel, next generation videoconference solutions and an interactive 3D Virtual Planner® application, which enables customers to take a three-dimensional virtual tour and personalise the configuration of their event. The High Tech Made Easy service is designed to provide cutting-edge technology high-performance and high-impact meetings and events.

The hotel also boasts a 300m² LED Vault screen - the largest installed in a European hotel - allowing for personalised content and 3D digital artwork on the hotel's façade and other devices.

NH Collection is NH Hotel Group's premium brand within a new brand architecture introduced last year as part of its five year plan. By the end of 2015 the Group will be operating nearly 60 hotels under the NH Collection brand, as it invests €227 in its properties as part of its repositioning plan.

Federico J. González Tejera, CEO of NH Hotel Group said of the award: 'NH Hotel Group´s goal of putting technology at the service of leisure and business aims to offer our customers a revolutionary service and installations in the industry, and is embodied in an outstanding manner in the NH Eurobuilding Collection. Therefore we are very proud that this emblematic hotel has obtained this relevant award because it means the recognition of the Group's commitment to innovation and incorporation of the latest technological advances to our hotels'.
