The Kentucky Department of Revenue (DOR) recently launched a new website, taxanswers.ky.gov, to answer questions and inform citizens on recent tax law changes made during the 2018 session of the General Assembly in relation to House Bill 487.

“Our goal is to assist taxpayers in becoming and remaining compliant,” said DOR Commissioner Daniel Bork. “These changes have an impact on many Kentuckians, so we want to make sure we are giving taxpayers as much information as possible. This site is one of the best ways to do that.”

The Tax Answers website is presented in a responsive design, allowing users the ability to access information and services across multiple devices. The website also features numerous resources such as guidance information, answers to frequently asked questions and links to technical guidance.

The DOR partnered with Frankfort-based Kentucky Interactive, LLC, aka Kentucky.gov, (via a public-private partnership) to design and implement the website.

“We really appreciate the professionalism of Kentucky Interactive on this project,” said DOR Public Information Officer Glenn T. Waldrop. “Their ability to work quickly and efficiently on this collaboration helped many Kentuckians get vital information in a timely and very effective way.”
