Nike India today debuts its first crowdsourced film on Nike Cricket Facebook as part of its "Make Every Yard Count" campaign, celebrating young Indian cricketers' dedication to the national sport.

The film, co-created by  consumers, captures the burning desire of young cricketers to represent their country.  Comprising more than 1,440 action images of young cricketers in India, t he film reflects the athletes' inspirational and relentless drive to play the game and realize their ambitions no matter the pitch conditions or competition.  

"At Nike, we understand that the cricket culture of this nation is not confined to Team India and its players. It includes the millions of young cricketers who strive every day to be amongst the best tomorrow. This film is a dedication to each and every one of those young cricketers who relentlessly chase their dreams," said Avinash Pant, Nike India Marketing Director.

The film shows a host of bowlers delivering the ball to numerous batsmen igniting frantic action in the outfield and between the stumps, which sets a high-tempo pace for the film. India's rich and diverse land and city scapse form a dramatic backdrop to the playing field as the action unfolds.   

Indian cricketers and consumers have submitted more than 2,250,000 images to Nike Cricket Facebook and Twitter during the campaign. Additionally, 100-pus photographers traveled around the country capturing shots of cricketers training and practicing on fields througout India.
