At the festival that gathers almost 8,000 visitors every year, some prominent artists such as Emir Kusturica, Goran Bregovic, Biljana Krstic, Amira Medunjanin and other have performed so far.

During this-year, 12th edition of the festival, which was held from April 19th to 22nd in the BOZAR Center for Fine Arts, Balkan region was presented for the first time not only through its traditional music, that already has become familiar to the Brussels audience, which returns to it every your, but also through a new segment of the festival called 'Urban Chapter'. Within this part of the event, in which more than 20 Balkan and Belgian artists took part, there were also numerous film screenings, workshops and discussions, held with the aim to assist in exchange of ideas and to enhance understanding between the young people on the Balkans and the youth in the EU. Privilege to open this-year festival was enjoyed by the Turkish music star - Candan Ercetin, who performed showing her traditional opus, while the second festival day was marked by the Bosnia-Herzegovina's band 'Dubioza Kolektiv'.

On the third day of the festival, NIS Representation Office in Brussels, with support extended by the office of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce in Brussels, organized the traditional cocktail party, attended by most prominent representatives of European institutions, diplomatic corps, business associations, as well as friends of the company and festival participants.

As a socially responsible company that, apart from Serbia, develops its regional business activities also in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Romania, Bulgaria and Hungary, NIS shares the basic values with 'Balkan Trafik!' festival - tolerance and respect for diversity, support to the young, promotion of cooperation, multiculturalism, true values and art. In addition, support to this manifestation, for the sixth consecutive year, has been one of the ways in which NIS continue to fulfil its mission: to provide people in the Balkan region with energy for moving towards a better life, through responsible use of natural resources and modern technology.
