Nissha Printing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Nissha"), has entered a licensing agreement for contactless bio-signal sensing technology through a strategic partnership and equity participation in NeuroSky, Inc. (NeuroSky), a company based in the United States engaging in the development, manufacturing, and sales of bio-signal sensors.
"We will acquire and merge new core technologies into printing technologies and completely reorganize our business portfolio in global growth markets" - in line with this medium-term vision set forth in its Fifth Medium-term Business Plan that came into effect in April 2015, Nissha is set to accelerate development of wearable sensors and other new sensing devices to follow its touch sensors by fusing the high-precision flexible substrate patterning technologies of its Devices business with the contactless bio-signal sensing technologies of NeuroSky.
