Nissha Printing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter 'Nissha') was certified as an 'Outstanding Enterprise in Health and Productivity Management, White 500 (large enterprises category)' at the Health and Productivity Management 2017 presentation event organized on February 21, 2017, by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (hereinafter 'METI') and Nippon Kenko Kaigi (Japan Health Council).

Health and Productivity Management is a program administered by METI as part of efforts to 'extend the nation's healthy life expectancy,' a key policy of the national government's Japan Revitalization Strategy.
Health and productivity management refers to strategic practices to maintain and enhance employee health from a management perspective. Investment in employee health is expected to improve the vitality and productivity of employees, thereby revitalizing the organization, and as a result boosting corporate performance as well as resolving social challenges in such areas as enhancing the nation's quality of life and optimizing the cost of health care.

Nissha recognizes that ensuring the safety and health of all people engaged in its business activities is a top management priority. In line with its Occupational Safety and Health Policy, Nissha promotes the participation of all in creating comfortable workplace environments and developing sound physical and mental health.
The certification reflects a formal welcome of Nissha's efforts in health and productivity management, as the company demonstrated in its responses to the FY2016 Survey on Health and Productivity Management, administered by METI.
