Nissha Printing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter reffered to as "Nissha") has spun off its Information and Communication business as a wholly owned subsidiary named Nissha Printing Communications, Inc. (hereinafter reffered to as "Nissha Printing Communications") with the purpose of enabling it to execute an adaptive and bold strategy in the current market environment.
The new company, Nissha Printing Communications started operations on July 1, 2015.
The Information and Communication business inherited the tradition of high-quality art printing that Nissha to practice and uphold upon its founding in 1929, and primarily engages in the production and sales of general printed matter. The business has endeavored to expand into sales promotion and Web solutions to support the total communications activities of customers relating to advertising and sales in recent years. Nissha believes that this business will have many opportunities to grow as the methods of social communication continue to diversify with the appearance of new information media one after another.
As the company split, Nissha Printing Communications will operate with definite "authorities and responsibilities" and promptly respond to these perpetual changes expected in the market environment. Nissha Printing Communications will inherit the founding mission of Nissha to "pursue things no others can compete with" In addition to producing and selling conventional printing matter, it will provide high added value products and services attuned to the communication strategies of customers as a partner in the market.
Nissha Co.,Ltd., is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the planning, development, production and sale of industrial materials, devices, medical technology, information and communication and others. It operates through four business segments. Industrial Materials segment produces and sells decorative films, molds, molded product and metallized paper. Device segment is engaged in manufacture and sale of film touch sensors, gas sensors and input devices. Medical Technology segment is engaged in the production and sale of medical electrodes and surgical instruments for medical institutions, and the contract manufacturing for medical device manufacturers. Information Communication segment is involved in the planning, production and sale of products and services such as publication printing, commercial printing, art solutions, and sales promotions. It is also engaged in the business of green space management, industrial waste separation collection and transportation, and security.
