ACCUMULATED GAS PRODUCTION AT PYAKYAKHINSKOYE FIELD EXCEEDS 400 MILLION CUBIC METERS

Tuesday, March 14, 2017

The accumulated production of natural gas at Pyakyakhinskoye oil and gas condensate field has exceeded 400 million cubic meters since the start of gas production in January 2017. The total accumulated oil and gas condensate production exceeded 600,000 tons from the launch of commercial production on this field in October of 2016.

The operating well stock includes 25 gas and 54 oil wells. The average daily flow rate exceeds 300,000 cubic meters for a gas well and 70 tons for an oil well. The current daily production of natural gas and associated petroleum gas at the field exceeds 9 million cubic meters, while of oil and gas condensate - 4,000 tons.

Pyakyakhinskoye oil and gas condensate field is one of the largest fields in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District in terms of hydrocarbon reserves discovered and put into commercial production over the past few years. The field's recoverable reserves of the C1+C2 categories, by the Russian classification, are estimated at 86 million tons of oil/gas condensate and 261 billion cubic meters of gas. Marketable gas from the field is transported via a gas trunk line to a gas compressor station near Nakhodkinskoye field, and further, through a gas pipeline, to the Yamburgskaya compressor station. The oil is pumped via the Zapolyarye-Purpe pipeline.
