LUKOIL LUKOIL AND NENETS AUTONOMOUS OKRUG CONTINUE COOPERATION

A protocol to the Cooperation Agreement between LUKOIL and the Government of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug was signed in Moscow today. The document, covering the remainder of this year, envisages further interaction in such areas as geological surveys of the subsoil, production of oil and gas, supplies of petroleum products and development of the region's production and social infrastructures.
Besides, LUKOIL will continue efforts to help raise local employment and preserve the way of life of the small indigenous groups of the North. The company will share in the Okrug's social and economic development and support charity projects.
LUKOIL will supply petroleum products at market prices to the Okrug's consumers, including the housing and utilities sector, farmers and public sector entities. Events aimed to improve environmental safety will be organized at the company production facilities as part of the Ecological Safety Program of LUKOIL Group Organizations for 2014-2018.
