Plenipotentiary representative of Russia's President in the Ural Federal District Igor Kholmanskikh, President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov and Governor of Yugra Natalya Komarova were on a working visit in Kogalym today.

They visited the Galaktika sports and culture center opened in September of 2016. With total floor area exceeding 31 thousand square meters, it is a unique facility both in terms of size, functionality and social implication. This major social project, providing employment for hundreds of people, was delivered at the expense of the Our Future foundation, established by the President of LUKOIL.

Igor Kholmanskikh, Vagit Alekperov and Natalya Komarova also visited the construction site of the Church of Saint Martyr Tatiana.

The construction of this Russian Orthodox Church, fifty meters high, with five domes and a two-tier bell-tower, is sponsored by the LUKOIL Charitable Fund. The completion of the church, whose interiors are under decoration now, is slated for 2018.

The itinerary of the working trip also included a visit to LUKOIL EPU-Service, a permanent-magnet motor-manufacturing site with a capacity to produce 5,000 units of equipment a year.
