TEN MILLION TONS OF OIL PRODUCED AT LUKOIL FIELDS IN NORTH CASPIAN

Wednesday, June 7, 2017

LUKOIL has reached another milestone with ten million tons of oil produced at Yury Korchagin and Vladimir Filanovsky fields in the North Caspian.

The most significant gain in production is observed at V. Filanovsky field, where cumulative recovery has exceeded 2.5 million tons of oil as from the commencement of the field's commercial development.

The company is currently implementing Phase 2 construction plan at both fields: at Filanovsky, the topside of the fixed ice-resistant offshore platform (LSP-2) has already been mounted on the substructure, while at Korchagin, the sinking of piles for the wellhead platform substructure is underway.

Vladimir Filanovsky field was put in operation in 2016. The annual production rate at plateau phase is 6 million tons of oil.
Commercial development of Yury Korchagin field commenced in 2010. The cumulative production reached 7 million tons of oil as of late 2016.
All the offshore facilities installed at LUKOIL's Caspian fields have been manufactured by Russian shipyards. Zero emission principle is observed at the company's facilities in the Caspian Sea.
