The Ranking identifies the top 100 companies in the region with the highest sustainability performance, based on a broad range of environmental, social and governance (ESG) indicators. The Ranking provides investors and consumers with insights into corporate sustainability practices, and aims to provide businesses with a way to benchmark their performance against other regional businesses.

More than 1200 companies from 11 countries/regions are evaluated for the Ranking and Nomura has been selected as the only Japanese financial services company for two consecutive years.

Due to increasing demands from stakeholders, Nomura has been providing investors and other stakeholders with financial data and non-financial information. Nomura's initiatives toward responsible investment and information disclosure regarding the environment, society and governance were rated highly.
