Follow-up order for Nordex from Turkey

Hamburg, 24 November 2017. The Nordex Group has received another contract from Turkey. From April 2018 onwards, it will be installing nine turbines with a total capacity of 30 megawatts in the Province of Izmir. The customer is Umut Insaat, which is constructing the sixth project in Turkey with Nordex with this order.

Located at an altitude of 1,200 metres, the site is characterized by good wind conditions. For this reason, the customer has decided to order N117/3600 and N117/3000 turbines, which are designed for these wind conditions.
