Spokane Valley, WA, USA - 20 February 2018- Nordson SELECT, a Nordson company (NASDAQ: NDSN), is pleased to announce its Integra™ 508.5 will make its North American debut in Booth #2108 at the 2018 IPC APEX EXPO, scheduled to take place February 27-March 1, 2018 at the San Diego Convention Center.

The Integra™ 508.5 is a multi-station selective soldering system designed for high-volume applications with maximum throughput. With its flexible configuration, the Integra™ 508.5 is a versatile selective soldering platform and can be equipped for either single, parallel or double processing. When configured with dual drop-jet fluxers and dual solder pots, the Integra™ 508.5 can solder two boards at the same time in each soldering station. When operated in the parallel mode, the IntegraTM 508.5 can process up to ten boards at one time significantly increasing machine productivity.

The Integra™ 508.5 multi-station selective soldering system is available in either two or three soldering station variants designed to meet a wide range of demanding high-volume, high-performance soldering applications. Both two and three soldering station variants have top and bottom preheating directly after fluxing and can be equipped for either single, parallel or double processing.

Also on exhibit will be Nordson SELECT's unique automatic solder nozzle tinning system. As industry experts we know that only a clean and oxidation free solder nozzle can be properly wetted. Unlike other nozzle cleaning systems, Nordson SELECT's patent pending system does not spray a liquid or powdered flux. Our solder nozzle tinning system keeps our solder nozzles prestigiously clean by automatically removing oxidation residues and re-tinning the surface of the nozzle without any resulting overspray or contamination on the printed circuit board or the selective soldering machine.
