- rail transportation of freight (79.7%): transportation of coal (32.7% of sales), chemical products (16.7%), agricultural products (16.4%), metals and building materials (15.2%), automotive products (10.2%) and papers and forestry products (8.8%);
- intermodal transportation (20.3%).
At the end of 2011, the group operated a rail network of 32,224 km (including 24,744 km company-owned) as well as a fleet of 4,074 locomotives and 86,290 containers.
