Changzhou, China, 28 May 2015 - NORMA Group, a global market leader for engineered joining technology, has paid tribute to its high-performance and most reliable logistics partner companies in China, in particular, for the first time by awarding the Logistic Provider Award in various categories for business year 2014. These awards for outstanding collaboration, good service and a positive contribution to value creation were now presented to the logistics companies Bondex, ChuanMing, DHL, DSV, Expeditors and HuiQun.

"We are pleased to be able to honour our best partner companies with the Logistic Provider Award. The reliable delivery of our products all over the world is an important guarantor of our customers' satisfaction and thus our business success," says John Stephenson, COO of NORMA Group. "To maintain our high level of delivery reliability over the long-term, we constantly optimise our logistics and production processes."

The Logistic Provider Award recognises the achievements of international transport companies that NORMA Group works with. Besides reliability and service, the observance of delivery times and a low damage ratio are evaluated.

NORMA Group has been working with its award-winning logistics partners since 2008. The company opened its first Chinese plant in Qingdao that very same year. Another production site was built in Changzhou in 2014. Among other products, these plants manufacture fluid systems, urea pipes and V profile clamps for customers in the motor vehicle industry in Asian countries, Europe and the United States.
