(Nasdaq: NTK), a global diversified company with leading brands and innovative air management and technology-driven products and solutions for residential and commercial applications, today announced the appointment of Matthew Hughes as vice president, treasurer.

Hughes will be responsible for oversight of all Nortek treasury functions, risk management and taxes. He joins Nortek with 18 years of finance and treasury experience at GTECH Corporation. Most recently, he was chief financial officer of GTECH's products and services division. Prior to GTECH, Hughes performed various finance roles at Gartner, Inc.

Hughes holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Central Connecticut University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Bryant University.
